Wood for Good. Here is a fantastic book about Wood Science, specially written for kids, describing softwood structure. It aims to inspire children to know wood and study wood and forestry, raising awareness of nature and sustainability. This field needs renewal to survive. Strengthening education and research will attract more talent and secure the future of the wood industry.

The book "The magic within a tree" immediately caught my attention for the way it makes science and sustainability engaging and accessible. The illustrations are vivid and accurate, and the inclusion of microscopic images adds a fascinating layer of reality that sparks curiosity. As a parent, I especially appreciate how the narrative invites children to ask questions and start conversations, while also offering adults meaningful insights. It is both entertaining and educational, and it encourages respect for nature from the earliest age. A wonderful resource for families who want to learn and grow together toward more sustainable practices.

Our Commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals

We promote environmental literacy and awareness through storytelling, art, and scientific exploration, fostering inclusive and equitable quality education about forests, biodiversity, and sustainable practices.

The project aims to amplify indigenous and diverse voices, ensuring that underrepresented communities, including women and native peoples, are recognized and empowered in environmental and cultural dialogues.

By highlighting the importance of forests and biodiversity, we encourage awareness and action on climate change, emphasizing sustainable forest management and conservation as vital climate solutions.

The project directly supports the preservation of terrestrial ecosystems by raising awareness about forest ecosystems, biodiversity, and the significance of native knowledge in sustainable land use and conservation efforts.

We seek to bridge native and modern communities, fostering collaboration and partnerships that promote knowledge-sharing, cultural inclusion, and collective efforts toward sustainable development.
